World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War

Helen Lyle gave this to me to pass around, but I think I'll keep it since it's one of my favorite books ever.
Great new angle on the zombie genre
Back on my shelf where I hope it will stay. My original review from January of 2008:
"Wow! Just amazing how a book can be so different, so creative! I put Max Brooks on the same level of genius as Bill Watterson of "Calvin and Hobbes" fame. (If the typical format doesn't fit for you, invent a new one!) I just love how he blew off the novel in favor of a series of "interviews" that give far more varied perspectives, yet build upon each other to create an absolutely complete picture of the war - before, during and after."

Passed to a friend who loves The Walking Dead, so I'm guessing he'll like this too.
