Did you like Jane Austens "Persuasion"?
This is Captain Wentworth's side of the story and he is telling his story right from the beginning, when he first got to know Anne Elliot. I liked it very much, but of cause it is not as exciting as reading Persuasion for the first time, because we all know how it is going to end ;-)

If you like it is going to be an Ring :-)

Das Buch ging heute auf Reisen. Ich wüsche viel Vergnügen :-)

Ich habe das Buch heute flott gelesen :-) Der Schreibstil gefällt mir und auch was Frau Grange daraus gemacht hat. Man muss natürlich darüber hinwegsehen, dass niemand - glaube ich jedenfalls - in seinem Tagebuch dauernd und detailliert Gespräche wiedergeben würde. Aber sonst wäre so ein literarisches Tagebuch auch echt doof!

Außerdem habe ich gerade festgestellt, dass ich - obwohl ich überzeugt davon war - Mr. Darcy's Diary nicht gelesen habe und auch nicht besitze. Stattdessen meinte ich The Confession of Fitzwilliam Darcy, welches ich dir als BC-Ring sogar an dich weitergeschickt hatte :-)

Das Buch ist wieder wohlbehalten bei mir angekommen. Ob es wohl gefallen hat? Zumindest wurde es im AustenSpinOffFaden Austenfans angepriesen :-)

After having read Persuasion: Behind the scence I felt the need to read this book again.
Captain Wentworth is very strict in his opinions and it is good to see his growing doubt, if he might have made mistakes as well.
