I was a bit dismayed when I saw that this novel was published by Scholastic Childrens Books but knowing that Philip Pullman had also written His Dark Materials and knowing how good that was when it was transferred to the cinema I read on. And do you know what ? I wasn't disappointed. The plot is fresh and the action is continuous. The ending was a surprise too. I think that you will enjoy it.
My comments are as already stated above. I am currently holding the book but will release into the wild as soon as possible
