Hogwarts, Narnia, and Middle Earth: Places Upon a Time
5 journalers for this copy...
Literary criticism comparing similar themes of three fantasy authors: Rowling, Tolkien, and C.S. Lewis. Short, but leaves the reader wanting to re-read the authors' works again.
Being sent via media mail...this is a "date" book since my date likes literary fiction and nonfiction (This is the bonus book). Also being sent with a bonus (date) nonfiction title as my date likes nonfiction as well. Hope you enjoy both of these as well as the flowers since all dates need flowers!
Thanks for the bonus! This looks like an interesting analysis!

Sending to Meekachu07 along with his VBB choice. Enjoy!
Thanks for sending this along with my choice. Probably not something I will read, but will try to find a new reader for it soon. Again, thanks for sharing.
Shipping to Cape Coral, FL via the ABC Book Box. Enjoy!
The book arrived today. Thank you for sharing it with me. I have spent a number of hours in middle earth and in Narnia with just a little time in Hogwarts, so The book should be interesting. I will pass it along after I finish reading it.
The book was interesting. It was fun to see someone else’s input.
9/7/16 offered in the ABC VBB. I put it on my short pile to read.

Thank you so much for this book, booklady331.
I am only familiar with the Narnia series. I have never read the Harry Potter series or the Lord of the Rings books. I have not seen the film adaptations either. I did find it somewhat interesting reading the author's thoughts about how time is treated in these three books. It reminds me that the time that we are living in is different from eternity. The author also explores ideas about death presented in the book.
