Yet another excellent M. C. Beaton book! I really enjoyed the story! It was entertaining and interesting, I didn't want to put the book down even to make some more tea:) A very good cozy mystery!

One Book a Month RABCK - April. The book is on its way to the next reader! Happy Reading!:)
Thank you so much for sending me this book!
It was a good story, an easy one to read but there was something missing! Probably it would be even better if there were more mystery and guessing moments in the plot. But surely it was amusing!

Time for this book to travel! I just left it at our official zone, during our monthly meeting!
Just caught at today's meet up. Always a pleasure to read one of Beaton's books. Looking forward to it!
Written with humour and emphasizing on romance as well as on mystery, it was a light reading which kept me company for less than 24 hours during a cosy weekend at home.
I have to say that I didn't like it as much as the two books of the edwardian murder mystries series by Beaton which I had read some years ago and which I thought were great. I found this one very "simple" in a way. I was expecting more.
