this has been on my shelf for ages (two years maybe?) and I've only just realised it's unregistered. Started reading it and it's very familiar, I think I've started and abandoned it before, so I'm determined to see it through this time!

I'd definitely read the first half of the book before and unfortunately it didn't really grab me the second time around either. The story of the daughter of Jamaican immigrants who eventually visits the island to find where she's come from - not anything like as good as Small Island, but perhaps others will like it!

Some clown has taken out the last page - not me!
