Looks right up my alley and I can't wait to get started - thanks so much and Happy New Year!! .....'course I should probably concentrate on books more appropriate to the female gender but what can I say??? I love the shoot 'em up, Marines, spy stuff etc etc kind of books!!

Wellllll, maybe because it's because I'm getting to be a BOF [Boring Old Fart] but I thoroughly enjoyed this book about a geriatric group, and one youngster at 18, bunch of guys setting off on an adventure. I have always respected "my elders" and enjoyed listening to tales of old people's lives - truth is stranger than fiction. So I think it has always made me appreciate more the stories about BOF's. Thanks again Panetier - good book!!

P.S. I had someone give me some really nice cookbooks to register on BC, but I gave them all to a friend of mine who actually likes to cook :)...wouldn't want to mess up my bookshelf with that girly stuff you know haha
