I was expecting chick-lit and instead got a very good story, told from the perspective of several women's voices involved in the event of Rory's conception and birth. The storyline didn't go the way I had expected, but had what I thought was a very good ending.

I very much enjoyed this book until about half way through then I had to skim it to the end. I do have to admit that very little hold my interest these days.
