I really enjoyed the film so thought it would be good to read the book. Which I've had for some while but only just started.
This was one of the rarer cases where I preferred the film to the book. The book had less humour and was perhaps more poignant (or depressing re old age.) Whilst essentially the same as the film there were tweaks to both the characters and the plot.
Passing this on to my sister in law
