Wurtzel does not come up for air in this rant of women in history whom she found fasinating during her childhood and have recently surfaced in past scandals. But will the likes of Amy Fisher and Courtney Love stand up to the test of time as great historical bitches? Like Wurtzel, I don't see Amy as a "bitch" but as a manipulated teenager. JOEY is the bitch, really. He's the one that wanted his wife offed, and used a young girl's vunerability to prostitute and solely punished for his failed schemes. Amy is a patsy.

#2 in 2004 reading challenge.

I first read Wurtzel's Prozac Nation, and was completely moved by her writing style. Not too long after I went to a reading/signing oh hers and onced again was in complete awe. I even got to chat with her for a few moments and have "Prozac Nation" & her new book @ the time "More,Now and Again" signed.(also a great read) I look forward to reading this honest & real approach on women's behavior & the labels cast upon them, not only these days but all the way back to the Bible.
Thanks to Danadoodle for sending Wurtzel on my way! :)
