THERE IS A RIVER is tells the compelling story of the world famous clairvoyant
Edgar Cayce. An unschooled man, he would go into a deep trance state,
access the Akashic Records and be able to discover very accurately
information about people, ranging from holistic treatment for serious
illness, back to the former lives.
An organization in Virginia Beach continues his work to this day: The Association of Research and Enlightenment. They have free daily tours and
lectures, a labrynth overlooing the sea, a meditation garden with Peace Pole,
and one of the largest metaphysical libraries in the world. For a modest
fee one can become a member and receive an excellent magazine called
Venture Inward, and aprticipate in conferences, tours, etc.
There is a River tells the story of Edgar Cayce's life. He had an injury
as a child that caused the onset of his abilities. One compelling story is
about his brother who had an eye injury and the doctors were going to
remove it. The little boy said, "ask Edgar to do a reading". They did and
his remedy was tried and restored the sight!
Other books about Edgar Cayce that are also good is: Edgar Cayce,
an American Prophet by Sidney Kirkpatrick....more recent and developed
than There Is a River. Also Jess Stearn's book: Edgar Cayce, The Sleeping
Prophet.
Cayce's accuracy is often compared with that of Nostradamus and
his prophecy's were not as oblique. For more information on the ARE
