2013 World Book Night Book

What is World Book Night?

World Book Night is an annual celebration designed to spread a love of reading and books. To be held in the U.S. as well as the U.K. and Ireland on April 23, 2013. It will see tens of thousands of people go out into their communities to spread the joy and love of reading by giving out free World Book Night paperbacks.

World Book Night, through social media and traditional publicity, will also promote the value of reading, of printed books, and of bookstores and libraries to everyone year-round.

This is a wonderful book and I learned so much about flowers and their meanings...I will never look at flowers the same. I loved Victoria's Dictionary of Flowers at the end of the book.

This book involves the foster care system in the US and it's heartbreaking reading about children whom nobody seems to want. Elizabeth was amazing and Grant was a hero! Victoria was complicated and there were a few moments in the book when I wanted to shake some sense into her, but she came through. The ending was endearing and satisfying, a full circle moment.
