One of the many books on my shelf that I have read and enjoyed, but in all honesty am quite unlikely to ever read again. Time to set it free to find another happy reader!

Like most people, I have my favorite O. Henry stories, such as The Last Leaf. In this book, I discovered quite a few I had never heard of but also came to enjoy. He was a gifted writer and a master of the short story.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Dropping off in the Little Free Library at the train station.

Edited to add: Huh. I thought I wrote a review for this book. Anyhow, these stories are more like bon-bons than potato chips. Exquisitely crafted little things to be savored individually, rather than wolfed down by the handful. O. Henry's attempt to replicate "hick" dialog gets irritating after a while, but he is undoubtably the master of the trick ending.
