Haven't read this one yet. I'm taking it on a trip, and registering in advance so that if I finish it while I'm traveling, I can wild release.

If I do that, I'll try to remember to come back and journal my thoughts and release notes, but I'm not optimistic about my memory for that (ha), so I do hope that someone will find this book and come make an entry anyway. :)

Well, as you can see, I didn't end up reading this on that trip I mentioned in the first journal entry. But I did pick it back up after I returned!

I never really thought I'd be into a book like this (I don't know if it's officially sci-fi, but even the sort of semi-sci-fi), but because I knew SO many people loved it, eventually I thought I'd give it a try. And I found.... still not really for me. I did enjoy it well enough, but I didn't find myself wanting to read the rest of the series (or re-read and re-read like some people I know! ha!).

Still, I'm glad I finally got around to checking out the cultural phenomenon I was always curious about.
