This book packs a powerful punch. It explores dealing with a bereavement and the guilt of the living. Quite a clever idea writing it down in a story and not a list of stages to follow. I love the pictures too.
This is hitch hiking its way in a RABCK to earthcaroleanne as a Bonus RABCK and compensation for the delay in getting out the RABCK I told her I was posting last week.
Happy reading!

Thank you so much for this little extra in the package you sent me. I started reading the BBC Big Read and got stalled - embarasing as it's been for more than a year now. This might be the kick start I need to get on with it. Can I just say, this is why I love bookcrossers!

Vicky is a sparky girl who doesn't let a small thing like being dead stop her from living life to the full. Whether her best friend Jade is in lessons, out running or tentatively trying to make new friends, Vicky is making her presence felt...
This is a funny and moving story that offers a quirky view of the afterlife and a powerful exploration of the process of grief. It deals with such themes as loyalty, trust and guilt, showing that sometimes only by letting go can a person fully understand how much they love somebody. I think it'll teach a lot of children about grief and guide them through it.

Received from earthcaroleanne as part of her 10th BookCrossing anniversary celebrations! Many thanks!
Decided to read this as it's very popular with my students. Very deep subject content and relatable circumstances. I can see why my students like it. Will now go to my school for students to take.
