It a very good read, even if you already saw the movie because it's much more moving and funny to read.

Like Nakipa I had seen the movie before I read the book. Something I very rarely do. Still enjoyed the book. Was surprised how closely the movie had followed the book. Still the book can express subtle details that are hard to convey in a movie.

Caught at a book crossing a year or so ago. Very interesting. Sad and a bit extreme at times. An easy read, though not light an breezy. I found myself resenting the older daughter and being shocked by the younger one. And at times being irked at Matthew. (And there was a movie????)
