V is for Vengeance
3 journalers for this copy...
The twenty-second Kinsey Millhone novel.
Another highly entertaining book in the Alphabet series. Like the previous one, this is told from the POV of several characters including Kinsey, with a wonderfully convoluted plot which all pulls together at the end. Can't wait for W!

I pinched this book from Rahar109 some time ago as I am reading the series...I have just read K is for Killer so I might need to check some wishlists and see if someone else wants it before me!
This wasn’t one of the worst Grafton books but I got really frustrated with Kinsey in this one. She was rude and abrupt to a paying client and had strong opinions on shop lifting yet when she finally met the person behind it all - she quite liked him!!!
I definitely prefer getting the multiple perspectives in her books now and find they flow much better for me as a reader. The precise time keeping seems to be on hold in this one too. Not a bad read I’m nearly at the end now!!!

Another case of needing tighter editing - I'm not convinced the book needed to be over 500 pages long. However, the story was still gripping and I couldn't put it down. The characters were realistic and believable, and there were some interesting twists.
I'll release it along with the rest of the series once I've finished them.
(My mum, katweeble, read it before me, but forgot to journal it!)
