Picked up at the BC meeting at cafe Averechts
This is one of my all-time favorites I ever laid my hands on by way of the wonderful Bookcrossing community. It took me a while to finish this juice, funny, llively book with a totally original, charming heroine as it describes her professional, personal and sexual adventures in Geneva of the League of Nations during the late twenties and early thirties. Now I am eager to read its sequel: Dark Palace.
Picked up at the Connecting Women meeting in the Hague 3rd October 2005. It's top of my to read pile! Thanks to the lady who gave it to me and initiated me into the world of bookcrossing.

I really enjoyed this book so I did not want to do a wild release and brought it with me to a gathering of international women in The Hague, hoping to find someone who would really be interested in this book and voila, I found a young woman who seemed enthustiastic about the book and about Bookcrossing, so I hope the book may continue its travels and be followed....
