6 journalers for this copy...
21 Native American trickster tales in graphic format: tales told by Native American storytellers, including a Native Hawaiian. All in color with notes about all of the contributors.
I discovered this lovely book when I was looking for books for a Native American bookbox: I hope it will be able to continue to travel - it deserves to have lots of readers.

No tricks here: this book is off to see the world by way of Erishkigal's Native American bookbox.
Wow thanks for sharing this gem of a book! It's so beautiful I am seriously tempted to Permanent Collection it but I agree it deserves more readers.
Reading this from my TBR pile so it can travel on in the next round of indigenous people bookbox.
I enjoy the stories, some feels somewhat familiar and similar to trickster stories form other lands, but many definitely has a unique Native American take on things.

Started reading Aug. 23, 2019 - Finished Aug. 24, 2019.
Simply an ok collection of Native American tales.
I think this book would be best appreciated by a ten year old boy.
Maybe I'm just getting too old to value comic books. lol

Arrived safe and sound - sorry for the delay in journaling! I'm excited about this; husband and I will both read it before moving it along.
This was simple, but fairly enjoyable. I liked the variety of comic style and art. I wish the stories had been a little more involved, though. Good for an introduction to Native American mythos, appropriate for a younger audience.
Placing in the Bookbox of Intentional Variety.
Picking it from the International BookBox #4
This one looks interesting. Nice pictures. Thanks for including it in the box, Firegirl.
