I read this book my senior year in high school, the year it was released. I loved it. Now, 14 years later, I picked it up at a thrift store in Kapaa, Kauai, where I am travelling for two weeks (bookless, no less) I'm still amazed at Eggers frenetic thought processes and his often spot-on observations. Read it all, even what he tells you not to.
