"Gwenni is not like any other girl in her small Welsh town. Inquisitive, bookish and full of spirit, she can fly in her sleep and loves playing detective. So when a neigbour mysteriously vanishes, and no one seems to be asking the right questions, Gwenni decides to conduct her own investigation."

I really enjoyed the quirkiness of this book and its main character gwenni although I could have happily slapped a lot of the other characters a nice insight into 1950s wales and its attitudes.

Thanks for this book. Looks to be interesting and I'm sure I'll enjoy it!

This book was rather interesting but wasn't what I expected it to be. I had high hopes but it felt a little disappointing. I enjoyed getting to know quirky Gwenni, her friends and family.
Overall, it was okay for me but nothing to shout about.

Going into my 'What the Reviewers said' Bookbox. Enjoy!

Picked out of the What the Reviewers Said bookbox - looks intriguing and a new author to me, so will look forward to seeing what it's like!

I read the first forty or so pages, but couldn't get into it, I wasn't really connecting with any of the characters and decided not to finish.
