Bought this book on a good recommendation in the Sunday Times newspaper. However, it didn't live up to this recommendation in my opinion. I didn't particular like any of the characters and struggled to identify with them. The plot didn't exactly keep me gripped. There were no interesting twists and turns. All in all not a great read for me.
Released on Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at Kitchen in Accounts Building at Croda Chemicals in Hull, England United Kingdom.
Aha! Not released at Croda chemicals but at the first Hull meet up at the Mission on Posterngate. A very successful meet I think you will agree! It was great to me you finally! Heres to many more Hull meet's and lots of bookcrossing!
This book is a real mish mash of different plots and stories. I was disappointed with the blank page three quarters of the way in and as the book went on I became increasingly frustrated with the lack of clarity and actually storytelling. I firmly believed that this book would have hugely benefitted from a few trips to the editors office and some tough love.
I was not totally surprised as I am not a fan of Anne Rice (the author's Mother), but I was disappointed.
This book promised tobe a good story but failed to deliver in many different ways.
