One of these cozy mysteries, this one is set in the world of books restoration and publishing. I really enjoyed it, even if some of the characters got on my nerves – I think it would be impossible to not hate at least one character in a book, there’s always one that is there to be the annoying character. The writing is simple and easy to follow, I love the historical part of the plot, and also that it was set in Edinburgh. I must say that I have never anything negative to say about cozy mysteries, as they always fill their purpose: to entertain the reader while having a story that is not necessarily complicated to follow, even if there are some surprises. I will look for the other books in the series by this author.
