Purchased at the Riverview Branch Library in Riverview, FL. I had a copy of this book years ago that I set free to cut down on my book collection, but had never read it. I am glad another copy came across my path, I will give it a try soon!

King's work over the past 15 years or so has been hit or miss with me. This one was most definitely a hit! An emotional ride through time as we relive stories from a group of cops about a mystical Buick in their care and the disastrous events that have taken place around the car. Definitely one of King's better works, and don't worry, it's not a rehash of the themes in Christine. This book will keep you on edge with the horrific happenings and the gut-wrenching emotionality of current and past events in the lives of the characters.

I picked this book up at Tampa General Hospital, as Jare said, on a newspaper dispenser at the entrance to the parking garage. I like the idea of the traveling book and certainly pass it along. I started reading it last night.
I am a voracious reader. I liked King's early books but after Misery, got bored with him. This one seems promising and I am looking forward to it. Thanks, Jare
