The classic tale of the vampire. Bram Stoker uses a variety of literary styles to tell his story. If you like the genre, read the short novel 'The Vampyre' by John Polidori. It was Polidori who introduced the vampire story to English literature.

This is a really good vampire book. It starts out kind of slow, but stick with it because the story does pick up speed. It can also get scary so I wouldn't recommend reading it at night before you go to bed. If you manage to get your hands on this book, read it. You will love it.

I thought that Dracula was a great book that draws you in deeper an deeper everytime you open it. The only reason that i ever put it down is because my eyes would start to hurt from reading so long. Anyone who enjoys Vampire books should definately read Dracula because it is the father of all other books in its genre!

Finally, a decent summer reading book! "Dracula" tells the tale of a group of vampire slayers seeking to bring an end to the fog-morphing being dressed in black. Dracula hopes to acquire fresh blood, which is invitingly walking on the cobblestones of England. Although many movies and stories have spintered from Stoker's classic work, only the original will leave the lasting impression that will force you to pull your blanket over your feet.

"Dracula" is an incredible tale of mystery, intrigue and suspense. The story involves numerous comparisons and distinctions between two different men and their homelands. It is a story of love, deceit, mystery, enchantment, adventure, and imprisonment, which makes it perfect for readers of any genre. "Dracula" is the book to read if you're thirsting for a classic that contains few, if any, interruptions and has little balderdash.

I had to read the book Dracula during the summer along with others. But this was my favorite to read out of the three. In my opinion it is a really good book. I liked how the characters all had a special relationship with one another. I would definitely recommend this book to another person.

"Dracula" is a tale of terror, suspense, romance, and courage. Told in an organized journal format, it is easy to read. It reels you in and keeps you until the end. Bram Stoker told a tale of such terror that no movie could righteously convey. You'll want to keep a Rosary safe at hand when sleeping at night!

I was required to read this novel for a school summer reading assignment. It was a great experience to read this book as a transition from the amatuer versions. Its journal entry form creates excellet character development and gives the novel a feeling of reality. Its intense battle of Light vs. Darkness and the Old ways vs. the New creates a plot that truly keeps the reader's nose indulged in this classical gothic work.

Dracula is the perfect horror, if your into that stuff. Personally I enjoyed it,it had just enough suspense to keep me interested throughout the whole novel. This book made me interested in these sorts of stories, I have taken it upon myself to read other such novels such as Interview with the Vampire.

If you're in the mood to think, then read this book. This is a book that will definitely put your brain to work. It is a well thought out story and has some really good visuals that may actually disturb you. It's a story that shows you when humans actually come together, they can do great things. I wouldn't want to give anything away. just read it and be glad it is just a fairytale!

Bram Stoker’s Dracula is a masterpiece of a novel. This novel holds one of the pinnacle story lines in the vampire genre. The diction of the novel is appropriate in accordance with the topic at hand. The novel is organized into a series of journal entries and letters, this type of writing adds to the validity of the story and therefore makes the novel more believable as an actual account of an encounter with Dracula. The contrast between good and evil is evident within the context of the novel. This overlaps into the contrast with Dracula and the heroes, Christianity and superstition, and modernism versus old tradition. This novel is a well written account of a heroic struggle between the forces of good and evil, should be read by fans of the genre, as well as readers who are not familiar with this type of a story. All readers will not be disappointed.

The whole idea of vampires and the story of Dracula itself was not really new to me. By means of movies and television shows I was exposed to the stories of vampires and other related horror plots, however, I had never actually read or become fully aware of the official story of Dracula until I was assigned to read this novel. Growing up I always imagined that the story of Dracula would be so horrific that it would be difficult for me to finish the rest of the novel, however as I read it I found the story to be quite humorous and amusing during several scenes of the book. Though the idea of death and the possession of evil spirit, all mixed with the idea of religion, is scary, it did not fulfill my expectations as a horror story. I, however, thought that the way Stoker wrote Dracula by means of several journal entries was very creative and unique. It enabled readers to approach the story through many perspectives allowing them to envision the novel as a whole.

Before reading Dracula, I was not interested in the book. I was not interested in the book because I thought the book was going to be boring. However, as I read the book during summer, i became fascinated with the concept of vampires and darkness. As the story progressed, i became more interested into the gothic theme. Dracula, to me, is an excellent book because it allows the reader to imagine the story setting throughout the book.

Dracula by Bram Stoker is a very good classical vampire story. Its dark and sinister settings such as aging churches and castles create an original gothic environment. If you are looking for a good horror story then Dracula is the book your looking for.

Dracula was a thrilling book to read. It was actually the first real scary novel that I read. It was a descriptive novel that gave me so much imagery about what was going on and it gave alot of suspense to the events that occured by switching from one person's point of view to another. I loved it!!!

Dracula is an original and dark story that invovles the themes of death, love, and good verses evil. The eery tales of Dracula's background make it feel very interesting. Stoker's use of letters, journal entries, and reports were used very well and allowed me to get deeper into the character's thoughts and feelings. It was a brilliant way to tell this vampire story.

I was not quite sure what to expect when I read Dracula. I knew that it was an older novel when it was assigned to me for my summer project my senior year at Bishop Amat High School. I was very interested in the story behind it but I did not want to read a novel that was written in an older dialect. I found that the language not only suited the story and characters perfectly but also made the entire story come more alive with each diary entry. Since Stoker uses a different style for each character, it really helped me get the feel for each character. I really enjoyed reading the book and learning from it in class. Thank you Mr. Lewis.
