Me Talk Pretty One Day

If you love DOMA, you will probably hate this book.
Just guessing.
I'm not sure why I want to rate so low, the writing is not bad and makes me want to laugh out loud sometimes (how hard is that to do?) , but I guess it is just filled with too much teenage angst for me to really relsih...which I guess if you are America's contemporary genius huorist gets translated into 'sardonic wit' or 'incisive social commentary'...but for me, between the funny parts, it's a lot of pettiness, triviality, and bitchiness to travel through.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
: )
Picked up this book at a charity secondhand store in Rapid City SD where someone donated it. The book appears to have passed through a few hands in the years since it was released, but is still in good shape so I'll release it next time I'm in town.
I liked the book-- found it amusing and well written, but I didn't connect with the humor about drug use. Anyone who has tried to learn French or lived in France may find the second half of the book very funny.
