This was a good one.

This is a fun cozy mystery series, with a food loving, book binding, oenophile, heroine. This is probably my favourite of the series so far. I loved the Christieish premise of a room full of people, some likeable, some not, that no one can quite trust completely because one of them is definitely a murderer. The house itself becomes a character with human size mouse traps, sliding walls, holographs and trap doors. Bonus points for no Minka LaBouef in this book, and a lot less Derek Stone, two reoccurring characters, that both irritate and bore. Too much to hope that Carlisle might kill off the boring James Bondish Stone?

Happy reading!
This is a rereading for me. It is a pretty good cozy and at least Minka LeBoeuf isn't there. The plot is tremendously complex and there are a lot of secrets revealed at the end.
