From the bookcover:
The first in a killer new series introducing Frieda Klein
Monday: five-year-old Matthew Faraday is abducted. His face ist splashed across newspaper front pages. His parents and the police are desperate. Can anyone help her find their little boy before it is too late.
Psychotherapist Frieda Klein just migt know something.
One of her patients describes dreams of seizing a boy who ist the spitting image of Matthew. Convincde at first the police will dismiss her fears out of hand, Frieda reluctantly finds herself drawn into the heart of the case. A previous abduction, from twenty years ago, suggests a new lead - one that only Frieda, an expert on the minds of disturbed individuals, can uncover. Struggling to make sense of this terrifying investigation, Frieda will face hear darkest fears in the hunt for a clever and brutal killer...
In my opinion the authors have written better books in the past. The plot is predictable and unbeliveable at the same time. For example: I would't talk to a therapist who tells my secrets to the police, let alone staying in therapie. I also missed the part where Frieda has to face her "darkest fear". Though you get to know her a bit you dont't know what her strange behavior ist about and why she won't talk about her family.
