There is a lot of mystical stuff in this one!
It's crazy how people use to believe in all kind of weird stuff! :))
From all the characters I like the girl! :)
Patience is somehow cynical.. :P
All in all it is a well written story, I read it with pleasure

A nice surprise on my desk

Edit 14.02.2013: Liked the story, did not like page 3: "Question to consider in preparing for university seminar". Reminded me of reading assignments in school. I always hated when I had to read a book.
The characters are very likable if somewhat weird: Scotty, the narrator proves to be human, without losing himself. The witches use their powers in order to help. But why not use your extra-sensual abilities from the beginning.
Still gripping til the end.
Thanks

The subject interested me, as there is nothing mystical about it, it is still common practise today. But to me the story was too 'choppy' to get really into a flow (which is somewhat ironic given the story's subject is all about the flow of water) and I was unable to finish it.
It is written in the typical american style with the overuse of language, which I struggle frequently with.
I will release the book prior to my departure, probably leaving it at the airport as there is a greater chance of an english speaking traveller picking it up.
