This is the follow up book to 'The Talisman' - the previous collaberation between these two authors. It again features Jack Sawyer, he's now a policeman, at the end of the Talisman he was a 13yr old boy...
The town of French Landing seems like an idyllic place. Well it would be if small oddities weren't there. There's a talking crow and a house that's not quite of this world or IN this world... and children are going missing.
As this is a follow up book it is best read after the first one although it does stand pretty well on it's own. I read this first and soon got into the world of 'the Territories' even though the Myth and Magic element generally isn't my genre at all.
