Picked this up from the free shelf at the used book store on Friday, and realized after I got home that I already have a copy! Marking this one as available. From Amazon:

Hearry Benson suffers from violent seizures. When he becomes part of an experimental program that sends electrodes to his brain to calm him, he is in recovery. Until he discovers how to get those soothing pulses more frequently, and then escapes the hopsital--on a murderous rampage with a deadly agenda....

This is an old book, published in 1970 I think. So a lot of it is dated (they are smoking in the hospital, and the woman psychiatrist is practically the only woman physician, etc.), but a lot of it still feels pretty fresh, which is one of Crichton's gifts. His books nearly always provide food for thought and this one is no exception!
