This is the first in a series of books which I guess will run along the lines of a soap opera. I particularly liked the marketing type ploy where the last sentence finishes on the address of the next book in line, so you know which one to go and get next. The was a quick easy read, but I did find her writing style a bit repetitive. I don't know if this was because there were several story lines, so that when you came back to that particular thread she was reminding you of that the story was, but it was not a hard book to follow and I got the characters and there problems quite quickly, I certainly did not need reminding that Dan had grown distant from Grace so many times, or the reasons why Olivia did not get on so well with her daughter. I can see why people enjoy these, but not sure if I will bother with the rest of the series.
