I bought this in a wonderful independent bookstore in Galveston, Texas, called Midsummer Books. This is a tale of ancient Japan, kind of like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon in its style. I liked this book but it is not really my style of reading - but I am glad I gave it a try. I am not sure if I will read the other books in the series, though.

I will release this book into the wild when I have finished with it. If you find the book, I hope you enjoy it. Please make a journal note here to let me know what happened and whether you liked the novel. Thanks so much - welcome to Bookcrossing!

We bought the Bottger Mansion B&B in 2004. I just cleaned out the cabinet under the TV and created a book exchange program for our guests. Guests often either finish a book and leave it with us or are looking for new reading material, so we provide a place where they can either take a book or leave a book. However, this one looked interesting, so I read it myself. I'm now sending it on to my daughter in Portland.

Thanks so much ChinaDog! I always wondered what had happened to that book. I really enjoyed my stay at the B&B back in 2003, I would love to come back again some day.
