Journal Entry 1 by wingPlum-crazywing from Brighouse, West Yorkshire United Kingdom on Monday, October 22, 2012
Newly married and disillusioned with his job in Bristol CID, DS Vic Hallam has been thinking of leaving it all behind for a quiet life fishing off the South Dorset coast. But lately, trouble has been brewing along the idyllic coastline, with drug abuse, gang fighting and street violence thriving. When the disembowelled body of a young woman is found in the race off Portland Bill, Sam Hallam, Vic's belligerent boss, has had enough. He dispatches Vic and his partner DC John Cromer on an undercover operation to infiltrate the seedy underbelly of Southern England's escalating drugs trade.

A second brutal murder catapults the two headlong into one of the largest and most profitable drug runs in the South West. Pitted against the well-organised machine of greed, corruption and ruthlessness, Vic and John discover that the hunters can become the hunted - and soon their own lives are on the line...
