Although not the traditional chick lit, this definitely fits into that category: sassy, tongue in cheek and with enough laughs to brighten your day. Just don't let your hubby or SO get ahold of it as they are bound to take offense.

I am not a Southern lady by birth and probably don't qualify as one either since I live in Miami which is too multicultural to be considered "The South"...however, I lived in Tallahassee long enough to pick up a thing or two and this book really pegs it. It had me laughing out loud and I rarely do that when I read--I mean knee-slapping laughter to the point where my family heard me from another room and had to come check on me to see if I was choking on something. I can't wait to read the rest of the Sweet Potato Queens books!
