Wow! This was an amazing read, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and took so long to read it just because I had little time... but it was hard to put down.
I watched the movie some time ago, but except for some plot lines, I didn't remember it, which was fortunate, as this was like reading it for the first time.
All novels I have read by Mr Lehane so far have stayed with me for a long time, and this has been no exception. All characters are very well described, and interesting in different ways... you really care about what is happening to them.
Thanks for sharing this book with me, Bookstogive, I should have read it sooner, but it was great to see it in a very special bookcrosser's WishList, and I am sure it will make a very good (though belated) birthday present for her.
