Journal Entry 2 by ardachy at BCUK Unconvention 2012 in Colchester, Essex United Kingdom on Friday, August 24, 2012
Picked up at the UnConvention. Trying not to pick up too many 'Other BookCrossers' books at the moment but thought this sounded interesting. Also the title seems familiar... possibly as 'a-book-one-should-read'?
A very interesting book which, despite appearances, manages not to be too dated/ American/ wordy.
Amongst other things, Peck's view of religion is refreshing and thought provoking. In some places he is downright funny and comes out with some very surprising language at times :)
