I ran into this book at a friend's and it looked interesting, so I bought it at Finncon this summer and read it over my holidays. I liked it well enough, but somehow it just failed to really impress - the whole thing is just a little bit too convoluted. I will probably check out sequels if I happen to run into them but will not go into enormous trouble to obtain some.
