A very powerful book with a very heartwarming ending that made me tear up more than once. Definitely a must read.
I'm so grateful that my daughter never reached the depths of her addiction that Kristina did, and that I have not gone through nearly as much pain as Kristina's mother. I'm so grateful that my daughter was willing to start treatment and eager to escape her addiction. She still struggles, and will all of her life, but I'm so grateful that we have not lost years as Kristina and her mother did.
