Thanks! Above & beyond the call of duty! Catch-22 is first, this next I think..
Not quite what I was expecting - but then, what was I expecting? Not really sure. I was gripped! Didn't get much sleep while reading this one. I finished it a while ago though so I can't offer much in the way of reviewing (not that I am any good at that anyway).
But they ended up in Barnet, where I live! Only the second (or maybe third) time I have ever read a book where people went to Barnet! I was trying to work out where the doctor's house was. :)

Going into the Virtual Tutti-Fruittiiii bookbox.
This arrived on Friday...delay in journalling caused by flipping PC going to the hospital for broken PC's and then when hubby goes to pick it up on Saturday they are closed!! Anyway, all back and book is safely with me now...I can't wait to read this it is one I have been after for a while but kept forgetting about it! Thanks for offering it in Tutti Frutti!
A classic book and one I liked very much. I could only picture Diana Rigg when reading about Mrs Danvers which was not a bad thing but I do like to be able to picture my own characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this although I felt the ending to be rather abrupt as I wanted to know more and have a description of what had happened! Ah well, a classic that ought to be read by all.
Well I enjoyed this book so much I want to share it and so it is now going to become a bookray!
The list is as follows:

The book arrived yesterday, thanks Olliebear.
It cheered me up as we found out yesterday afternoon that my fiance has to go to Australia for a month - he flies today!! There is frantic, confused packing going on around me as I type.
Oh well, I guess it gives me plenty of time for reading, I should be making a start on this over the next few days.

Thank you so much for sharing this Olliebear, I really enjoyed reading it. It was one of those books that I alwys felt I should read but had never quite got round to.
For the first few chapters I found it quite hard going, I found the characters annoying and the plot slow (I tend to get impatient with long descriptive sections of narrative). I thought it was going to be a chore to get through and I felt uncomfortable at the prospect of having to confess I didn't enjoy something considered to be a classic.
Then all of a sudden I was gripped, I forgot all about the earlier irritations and I couldn't put it down, desperate to know how events would unfold. I believe I gasped out loud on the train back from York yesterday.
I will PM the next person on the list and send it out next week.

It took me a while to get into this one, but I'm glad I stuck with it.
On its way to Jords, or at least it will be when I make it to the post office.
