This is one of my favourite books. It's a combination of different genres, has a wonderful, very skillful writing and the story surprised me all the way to the end. I adore two main characters, the author gave them so many dimensions, I really feel like they are real. I would highly recommend this book. It later became part of the series, but it can be a stand alone book as it does have a conclusive ending, so you can feel satisfied with the story having only read one book.
