The title ot this book caught my eye and I took it with me. Having read another book about a witch hunt (main character called Apolonia) I'm looking forward to read this one. Did you know that at the time of the witch hunts some villages were significally depopulated by people accusing each other while there was not a single incident in Frankfurt/Main?

That was a fast read! Catching story. Read most of the book sitting in the morning on a terrace overlooking the Rhine river.

It looks a lot like a book I read long time ago, and the author sounds familiar as well. Not sure if that's a good thing, though. If it's the same book, a friend of my friend's gave up on it because she disliked it, although I belive one should be able to read anything. Got it because I like fast reads
