I really enjoyed this little gem of a book.
In a dystopia world, Kira is orphaned and is taken in by the Council of the Guardians where she has an important job assigned to her. Over the next few weeks, while she learns more of her trade, she uncovers secrets of her world. In the end Kira makes a difficult decision which will put her in a position to shape the future of her community.
