This book is not my favorite of the series. It took me a while to get into it. I would read a little and put it down and then go back to it. All of the others, I read all the way through without reading other books in between. I don't know if it was just me or if it was the book.....after about halfway through, it picked up a little. I hope the next one of the series is better.

My Review: I got this book a few years ago, but put off reading it until now. I knew that Tohrment's story would be full of grief and sadness.

This is another winner in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. It's an emotional roller coaster for sure. This was Tohrment and No'one/Autumn's story. There are so many great characters. J.R. Ward's books have heart, humor as well as a dark gritty undertone. Fabulous book, so hard to put down. You get to the end and go "What Happens Next?!?" Thankfully my library has the next few books in the series so I will continue reading to see what happens next.

I'm going to see if princess-peapod still wants to read this, if so it's going to California.
