The second and third have arrived here in the Alps. They'll have to be a little patient as work has started up again and there are a few other books in the works (including work-related things I have to read). This being said, I look forward to reading these soon. Thanks so very much for making these available and sending.

Well. As I believe I mentioned before, I think the issue here is that this slid out of its normal bracket and into mainstream literature, hence all the excitement. If it had stayed on the romantica shelf, there would have been no big hoo-hah.
As far as romantica goes, it's a bit long and repetitive, I find. There was an abundance of similar scenes, and yet constant references to the big fight about the obedience vows irked me - did I sleep during that scene, or, as I suspect, was it never actually written? If it was, it didn't leave an impression - certainly not worthy of the multitude of references to it in the third volume.
I did enjoy reading the scenes portrayed from Christians' point of view at the end of this.
Both of the main characters strike me as incredibly young and immature, really, which is annoying. Ah well.
I did enjoy parts of this, and although I didn't pick this up as eagerly nor read it as quickly as I might have, on the whole I was glad to read it, especially as a ring, as it's not a keeper for me. Thanks so much for making it available.
The next in line has asked to be skipped, and I've got an address for the person after that but no name (other than BC nick), so I'm waiting to hear about that.

After all the hype, I was hoping for more with these books, and now I am finished I am a bit dissapointed.

I did start to warm to Christian in this book however, I had hated him before. But then, the last chapter, that kinda blew it for me.

Oh well, at least I can say I have read them lol!

Off to ythan very soon x

Well, life with Christian and Ana is certainly never dull. I've enjoyed reading about all their ups and downs. I have often wondered what Christian thought about Ana in their first meeting, was very glad to find the author had included it.

This arrived today. I now know what Gizzopuddy meant when she said she felt a sense of loss finishing the books. I was missing them after the second one...

I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed these books. I found myself grinning at the soppy love story bits and I loved their email banter. I was surprised by all the extra stories (Jack Hyde) because they have never been mentioned in reviews. It's always been about the "mummy porn". Unlike the others, I didn't the additions at the end were necessary. I would have been quite happy to finish at the big house.

Final book in the trilogy, I was glad to see an end to it. The idea was good but 3 books was definitely too much; two would have suffice and editing the story would also have been needed. There were so many scenes that felt repetitive and I still couldn’t help seeing the similarities in the characters’ traits with the ones from Twilight, Bella & Edward. The book got success because it found its way into mainstream literature; otherwise, I think it would have had average success if it stayed in its genre. At least, this one had more adventures in it than the previous 2 ones!

I will mail the book to the next reader in the coming days!

EDIT: the book is finally mailed to the next reader as of Feb 11th - should be there in a few days!

Book arrived today. It's going to the top of Mt. Toobie!

I have to say that I agree with penelopewanders that this book was long and repetitive and also with Carelaisa that I was glad to see it end. I had to force myself to finish this book and I only did it because I had read the first 2 in the triliogy. Passing it on to imawinn2.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

A nice finish to this trilogy. I enjoyed the thriller aspect of this third book and learning more about Christian's past. I did, however, start to get bored with the sex scenes. Lots of repetitiveness. I can't believe I'm saying that but yes... I was finding myself skimming over those scenes by mid book. Sensory overload?? In my opinion, the story ended a bit too idyllic or "vanilla-like" but I was glad to see Christian and Ana settle on a more even keel. It was a fun touch by the author to go back to the original interview with Christian and Ana and to see their first meeting from Christian's view. From that vantage point, one can see how much Christian's attitude/mindset has changed from the beginning of the trilogy to the end.

Thanks for sharing your books, Rrrcaron. I'm glad I joined in on the fun. I have sent this last book on the marriedfairy. Happy Travels!
