Another beautiful story by Amy Tan. The theme of a stormy mother-daughter relationship due to cultural differences is one that I can relate to. Family is everything, for better or worse, in many cultures. Winnie, Pearl's mother, reveals parts of her life that she had never told her daughter before. Without this knowledge, Pearl had never understood her mother fully.
I've finally decided I'm ready to let this one go.

Cleaning house and this is another book that has been sitting forever and is not any closer to being read. Hopefully someone will enjoy it.
