Spider Bones (Temperance Brennan 13)

When a recent drowning victim is identified as a man who died in Vietnam its obvious that the normal methods of identification might need some help.
Actually identifying the drowning victim will uncover a conspiracy, a very old secret and a strange genetic anomaly which might prevent any being identified at all.
Add to this two complex personal crises for Tempe to navigate and suddenly a straight-forward drowning case seems a little complicated.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Released as part of the bookcrossing scavenger hunt
Was given this book, wrapped with first sentence only as the clue....at the latest bookcrossing meeting. I was unable to participate in the scavenger hunt but was given a book anyways. Imagine how pleased I was to get this Kathy Reichs book - and one I haven't read yet! Thanks Dendritic Trees.
Returning to next person list without reading. Find it confusing between TV show and book!
I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.

I picked this up at the February meeting.
Interesting dealing with the bodies that don't have a name attached and the work that goes into identifying bodies or part bodies. Makes you appreciate peace. Good mystery - you think it has been solved then see you are only 1/2 way through the book and wammo - another twist.
Taking this to the August meetup of BookCrossing at Cravings.
Picked up at August's meeting... It was a smaller meeting as When Words Collide is happening but we still had 9 BookCrossers.
Another fast read from Kathy Reichs. This one took place in one part in Hawaii and oh man do I want to go now...
Are you in the Calgary area and interested in meeting up with other Calgary BookCrossers? Please check out our facebook group, "BookCrossing Calgary" for details on how. Meeting are held on the second Saturday of every month starting at 11am. Location is unknown, please PM me for information. New Crossers are always welcome.
Taking to the Calgary June meeting.

I tried some of this series before but gave up as was confusing TV show and found frustrating. But show been off for awhile so will give another go.
Interesting book. A body is found, that was suppose to be buried years ago, as killed in action...so who is in the grave of the soilder? And then more bodies! I found it a bit too technical for me with all kinds of acronyms, but the story was interesting. This was book 11 in the series
