Comparisons between this and "The Lovely Bones" are inaccurate. I can’t see how they are similar.
I found that I didn’t really care what happens to the main protagonist in this book or anyone else in the story. The plot jumps from one third person point of view to another, making the story jumbled. I found myself lost as to what actually was happening. It wasn’t until hours after I finished the book that I was able to put the pieces together. The author was not clear. I found it frustrating that the author cuts the book off right when something in the plot was getting interesting. The story felt unfinished.
