it wasn't the most interesting book i've read, however, it's nicely written and gives a quite realistic outlook on the life of the protestant aristocracy in ireland. it can make a good read for ur holidays/afternoons. now that i think of it it also has quite interesting character psychology.
i've seen people reading in SinE sometimes and it's one of my favourite places in Cork so...
