This journeyed to me as part of the recently-unstalled Vampire Bookbox. Since these books have been out of circulation for the last five years, I am setting them aside to use for a new round.

This sounds like an interesting take on a vampiric society, so I plucked it out to read during its stay.

This book just isn’t clicking for me. I think part of it might be not having read the book before this one, and feeling like I am missing some vital info. But the characters and writing were too bland to convince me to keep going.

Hopefully it will be a better match for a future reader!
